Happiness is in Balance: Rest & Renewal

Happiness is in discovering and achieving your positive potential in life.

It is also in being fully present: appreciating and seizing the potential of each day.

It requires letting go of all that holds you back from living and loving fully: letting go of that which really doesn’t matter, and holding fast to what really does.

It is in relating, connecting and loving one another. It is in living for something greater than yourself.

It is in the acceptance and release of the past, living fully in the present and looking to the future.  It is in knowing your true self and  living in alignment with that authentic self.

Happiness is in the balance – of the important areas of your life, of work and play, of self and others, of action and rest.

Your happiness exercise: Happiness is not a dream destination or a final perfect product. Your life is a work of art and a work in progress. Balancing your life is a dynamic art, and happiness is in the balance.

Look at the balance in your life, and begin with the balance of this day. In the quest to get through your list of things to do, set aside time to rest, reflect and renew.
